Imagine taking a dip in a private infinity pool while staring out onto the crashing waves of the ocean and sipping a cocktail under the intense Caribbean sun. Now, come to realize this “mini-resort” is located just outside the capital city and everything the island offers is at your doorstep. This is Scuba Lodge, a tantalizing boutique hotel with friendly staff, beautiful views and an equal emphasis on hospitality above and under the water.

There are a variety of rooms available starting from Standard rooms which house a King size bed, Superior rooms for those looking for a little extra space and Deluxe rooms with ocean views. There are also full size, self-catering apartments for 4-6 people which offer extra space, multiple bedrooms, all the amenities one could wish for during a long stay and of course, large terraces with lounge furniture.

The sea side restaurant provides a perfect setting for any meal throughout the day, offering a variety of choices from breakfast through dinner. Listen to the waves crash against the break wall and feel the sand beneath your feet while you skim through the menu! Thursday night is also gaining momentum as the best place to be on the island when the BBQ gets sparked!!

If you’re looking to get wet, the Dive shop located at the front of the hotel offers some great diving opportunities and provides everything one would need to get PADI certified (which I can now say I am). The onsite pool and the hotels proximity to some great diving locations makes it a smooth and exhilarating introduction to the world of fishes.

If you are visiting Curacao and looking for an isolated oasis close to everything, then Scuba Lodge will certainly deliver. With lush gardens, beautiful views, cold drinks and great staff – you will be provided with all the necessities to relax and rejuvenate.
